Your First Visit

Patient Forms

You will be welcomed to our office. If you did not complete the forms available in the website, you will be asked to fill out our required forms which will help us gain some information about yourself and your condition.

Consultation

Next you will have a consultation with Dr.Nancy McCown or Dr. Kelly McCown to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your first visit is designed to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations to determine whether chiropractic may be of benefit to you.

Examination

After your consultation with Dr.Nancy McCown or Dr. Kelly McCown, you will have a complete chiropractichealthy_chiro_emblem.png examination. This will include a postural evaluation, your spinal range of motion, as well as other standard orthopedic, neurological, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that he/she has an understanding of if and how chiropractic can help you Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

Your specific examination findings may indicate the need for X-rays to be taken. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.

Report of Findings

Once all the information and examinations have been performed, Dr.Nancy McCown or Dr. Kelly McCown will give you a report of findings to answer the three most popular questions:

  1. Can you help me?
  2. What do you recommend that I do to get better?
  3. How much is it going to cost?

After discussing with you your history and your goals, examining your spine and reviewing any x-rays or tests, Dr. Nancy McCown or Dr. Kelly McCown will discuss recommendations with you. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, the doctor will tell you. If Dr.Nancy McCown or Dr. Kelly McCown believes we can help you, we will recommend a treatment plan.
